Telecom network engineers are continuing to restore XT mobile network services in the lower South Island.
Overnight, service was restored to some affected sites with around 97% of XT network sites across New Zealand now fully operational.
The remaining affected sites are concentrated in the lower South Island, including in Dunedin, Invercargill, Timaru and Queenstown.
Temporary solutions are available for customers affected by the ongoing issues.
Further updates will be given throughout the day.
